i was wondering if there is a website where you can find guitars buy searching specific requirments such as. fret size, active pickups, arch top ect...

anyone have any advice on guitars to check out. here is what im looking for

electric solid body
24 medium fret, set or bolt neck
active pickups emg/ blackouts optional, "i can always install them myself"
archtop design
3-way select switch "like a les paul"
a see thru black finish would be nice.

schecter c-1 custom, is my ideal guitar. i was just wondering of other brands that might be simular to its design, before i settle on getting one.

ESP kh would be nice, but way out of my price range  Grin. thanks anyway for the tip. Carvin has sweet guitars too. i think im just going to look around locally and see what i can find, now that i think about it. maybe i'll luck out and find a sweet axe someone gave up on and give it some TLC. thanks for the responses though, i really appreciate it.

I have the Schecter C-1 "Classic" which is the one the "Custom" is replacing. The Custom is essentially the same guitar as the Classic, but the custom does not have the vine of life anymore. If you are lucky you may be able to find the Classic for about $500, which is $300 less than the Custom, only because it is discontinued. I paid $720 (retail was $799 and list was $1199) for my Classic and six months later was available for $500.

Storm

This is what is on eBay right now, but I have seen them go for $500 new:

http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=Schecter+C-1+Classic&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Just keep looking or setup an alert and grab one as soon as you see it with "buy it now" for $500. I have the blue one and it is a sweet guitar.
