Im kinda diggin the idea of this. Ive never played a ratt as of yet, so I dont even know if I would like it, but I have a feeling I would. Plus two of them, and a compressor. Kinda far too (at least two hours drive, but I could probably get him to meet me halfway). Let me break it down.

The good.
Its cheaper than a regular single Ratt would cost me
More versatility with my OD/distortion sounds
Compressor
I can afford it barely

The Bad
I can barely afford it
Dont have a rack (been meaning to find a girl with a nice one, but so far no luck)
Kinda far away
I have a $20 musicians friend coupon that expires soon, and I probably wouldnt be able to use it.

Im not sure.

$75 for a 70's rackmount rat/compresser? Of course you should buy it...

Crap, meant solid-state.

Anyway, I thought solid-state was the opposite of analogue?

No, solid state is analog. A solid state amp is an analog circuit as long as there are no digital modelers. Solid state just simply means no tubes.
