Hi everyone,

I'm playing on a VOX VT 100 amp for about one year now, and I want something new to add to my sound. I'm playing on a Gibson Les Paul Studio and the music I play is mainly of bands like GnR, AC/DC, SLash, Aerosmith.

I already have a Dunlop Cry Baby, which is great, but I'm looking for a pedal (Overdrive/Distortion) for screaming solo's and that nice hard rock sound of the bands I mentioned.

Does anyone know a pedal for me? ANd what do you think of the Zakk Wylde Overdrive?

Thank You!

Greetings... (sorry if my English is not too good! I'm from the Netherlands!)

There are lots of great options, depending on your budget.  I'd recommend the Fulltone OCD or the Fulltone Fulldrive II.  Both are great.

If you're looking for a cheapie, the Digitech Bad Monkey is bad ass. Better than a lot of the more expensive ones.

I just looked the Digitech Bad Monkey, and it looks awesome. Is these a kinda '' noise gate '' ?
Because I'm looking for a gain/disto/overdrive pedal and a noise gate is essential.
Is the '' high '' and '' low '' knobs act like a noise gate ?

The high and low knobs effect the cut or boost of high and low frequencies, like the high and low knobs on an amp. I'm not sure what a noise gate is.
