Why is it so *!@&% hard to find a 1x12 or 2x12 that is built to have an angle, so it sits flat on the floor, and a head can rest on it, but the speakers angle up towards the player who is standing in front of it?

The obvious solution is you need a 412. Probably 2 so the second will be aimed right at you. I'll explain this to you wife if it will help. Cheesy

Same here.  It's not hard if you have the patience to do it right, some decent tools, and a lumber yard in town.  I was even able to find a tolex substitute at a fabric store of all places.

Mesa makes angled 212 cabs that cost more than you paid for your amp.

Yeah I have seen the stands used before, and while they do a nifty job of lifting the cabinet to the right angle, there's no space left in my room to place the head somewhere else.

Am going to wind up building the angled cabinet myself. (Might as well; my 2x12 is currently the shell of that broken-down GMX212 anyways. No harm in chopping it up.) Can use the opportunity to finally get started on that Flying V build, as well, since I'm too broke to buy one.

How come there's always so much month left at the end of the money?  Roll Eyes
