Here's a pic of a pic of a 5 string Bass I made for a friend a few years back ...   Fun !!!  but Warner Bros.  didn't much care for it and sent their attorneys after a pic of it appeared in the L.A. times ...  Shocked  All good because I wasn't making them to sell ...   Facepalm

Wow! I love this! Seriously, you can't even fathom how happy it makes me that this exists. I'm a huge Looney Tunes fan, with a collection of probably more than 48 hours worth, and this is the best thing I've seen all week. +1, and probably again in a couple hours.

Go for it. I left it like that instead of editing it because I figured everyone would get a kick out of it.

Not so funny story , my friend , who I made the Bass for owns a small Mom and Pop music store that I used to teach guitar and do repairs at in the early 70's . He's a huge Sylvester Fan and wanted a Bass like that so I made him one ...  and I told him that was it , nevermore ... He'd have the ONLY one !!!
One day , two guys in suits   Roll Eyes walk in his store , and wanted to buy the Bass... They offered him a virtual Shedload of money and he refused ... Then ,they wanted to have one made ... The answer was a resounding NO ...     Good thing too , cause' these guys were Attorneys from Warner Brothers , trying to entrap him , and me into a big fat lawsuit ...   Sneaky EVIL  bastards!!! ...  Good thing he held firm on this matter , or he and your humble narrator would have been sued ...   Innocent as this all was , WB wanted MONEY !!!
Moral of the story , no matter how innocent it seems , be careful what you make , or some attorney will come calling , looking to ruin you , and all for a guitar ...  Facepalm

This ^ only happened a few months ago !!!  Shocked   J, we live in a litigious society   (here) ... Fed  by greedy  Lawyers (solicitors) who then become politicians ...    Can't think of a worse group to run things ...  Facepalm
