Bass ??   Shocked Shocked Shocked    Yes , I ordered a SX Ursa , medium scale Bass to play around with ...  Came in , no defects I could find  , plays well and sounds Good  (like a Bass)!!
Amazed how they can make these for 109USD ... China!!!  Facepalm   But looks like they're finally getting it down ... This one is pretty Nice !!!    I did have to lower the action a bit for my taste , but that was easy with the included Allen wrenches...    I Like it !!!!   Grin

As I mentioned somewhere else, the guys on Bourbon Street are using these instead of their 5K custom basses ... Rough crowd down there...  It was Vinney that told me about these ...  Shocked
I really checked it over Very well before tossing the shipping box, just in case... For 100 bucks it's Damn Nice !!!  Nothing to replace right off the bat save some good strings, and even the ones supplied work just fine ...
Now you guys know I'm NOT one for Cheap instruments , but for something to hang around the studio ,and bash on ,  this will be just fine !!!  Grin

Congrats on the new bass.  Rawk1

They make some cool stuff in China these days. In Europe, we have Jack & Danny for example. 100 € guitars that play and sound like stuff four or five times the price.  Facepalm

CD, I'm thinking that just like the Japanese (those poor people  Shocked )  When they first started making things , they were just bloody AWFUL !!!  But finally got better ... Maybe the Chinese are finally catching on ...   Nothing wrong with this bass that I can find , and I did look closely  !!!

I had to change the bridge on mine.

How could you possibly get the right action
and intonation with just 2 saddles?

I like bass you can really play loud
with your practice amp.

You can really open it up and then find out what
you want to fatten up the sound.

12 watts (and a big speaker if you got one)
is great for practicing bass.
