I think this will be the big strength of their system.

What I don't like about the xenyx I've seen so far:

various compromises:

The fx I saw was 40khz sample
but the DAW (DA converter)
is 48.  Not that I think you could hear it
if you upsample to 256, but possibly
if you downsample again to 128.

You still need to have unused faders
down for best performance.

Some features are deleted in the non-FX
units besides the FX.

Some units have a 9 beq (barely enough)
and higher up models don't seem to.

The individual mid contour is fixed frequency.

The treble freq. seems to be a compromise
more for cymbals than anything else.

Im talking about the hardware package that comes with USB connection, you connect the guitar to that box(i think its called "Fast Track M-audio" or something like it) and then connect it to the pc through USB.
PS: Iv also tried some softwares, the clean recorded wav file is pretty much the same, the diference is mainly in the other stuff like reverbs, delays, distortions and of course the overall simplicity of the sofware.
But my question was hardware related, connecting it usb i dont even have nothing connected to the soundcard, how come it still mathers?
Thankx for all the answers!

Yeah, nothing wrong with the m-audio. That becomes your new soundcard. Once you get it setup properly, you should be able to stop using your motherboard soundcard (or whatever chip you may be using) completely. So, your soundcard doesn't matter.

If you like the protools software, then go for it. A USB interface is a great upgrade from your stock soundcard.

Thanks, all this comes from the research on google i did "how to record guitar on pc":
Got this (http://www.musiconmypc.co.uk/art_record_guitar_on_pc.php)

I am really a total noob on hardware, just love to play sing and record, but shitty quality recordings equals demotivation....that link got a sparkle on my eyes so much options below the 100€ mark..
