I didn't go past the first page. Golf course, gun club, railroad, and odor control is all I found.
Odd, the link worked for me ...  Huh      Here’s a demo at least  ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78JmTv9GdWY

Sorry, I meant the Google search. New Orleans Gun Club, etc.

Bird, you have to Google "New Orleans Guitar Company" ...  lots of stuff there...

I didn’t know we had a Gun club ...  I thought all those were in the hands of the criminals ...  Facepalm

Well, I broke down and ordered the 3 pups (P-90 vintage wound ) from Guitar Fetish ...   I had great Luck with these on the "Green Bean" build and they really do work well and sounded very good in a comparison test to the much more expensive Fralin’s and Lolar P-90s ...  Ordered a few more final parts from Stew Mac including the bulk pack (46’) of the Largest fret wire they had (Jumbo) ... which is particularly Nice for string bending and vibrato as long as one is not heavy handed  pressing on the frets , or it will go sharp ...    Buying the bulk pack reduced the price to less than a dollar a foot , better than half the price of the smaller lengths ... (2’)    This should be enough for quite  a few more guitars ...   Wink   If anybody needs some , let me know !

I went to NOGC yesterday and buffed out the Tru-Oil finish which came out Very Nice and buffed well without burning through (tru-oil is tough stuff ) .. All coming along now ...   I have some nice Alessandro pots and  got a new tortoise shell pickguard to replace the white one ...  Picked up a Tone Lock bridge and stop tailpiece..  Grover tuners on the way ... That should be everything... Can’t wait to get this one finished ...  Cheesy    I’ll take some pics when it gets light ...

Yes, natural with TS pick guard and the ivory colored P-90s  (GF)...   Still waiting on the pups and tuners ..   getting close now ...    Anticipation !!!   Cheesy

Fret job took about 2 hours , still have to level them , but that shouldn’t take long  as they look pretty good with the straight edge ...   Neck feels Good ... going to mount it with ferrules instead of a plate ...   ( a little cleaner looking) ...    Just waiting for the delivery man now ...

Fret leveling ...    Got out my straightedge (a real straightedge , not just a ruler)  and adjusted the Truss rod till the neck was dead flat ... then took a break for some coffee and a smoke , and came back , checked it again , (yes it moved) and re-adjusted it again ...
Took a Sharpie  and drew a line on the tops of all the frets ,where the string contacts ...  Took my 12” radius caul (Stew Mac) , the same one I used to radius the fingerboard , and using 320 grit Black sandpaper (wet or dry) lightly sanded the tops of the frets .... exposing a thin silver line at the top ... all the same ...  Now there is always one fret that is high   Facepalm, and those are first determined to be seated properly ... and then dealt with individually with a fret file till they exactly match all the others ...
Another quick pass using the caul and 400 , then 600 sandpaper (same kind) , then 0000 steel wool  (no pups around please)  then a little polishing compound on a Dremel cloth wheel , really makes em’ shine ...    When you string it up and play it , in short order you should see just a very thin “rub” line on the very top of the fret ... Cheesy

Frets that are ground down flat (to level) need to be re-shaped with a fret file ..  happens sometimes ... Facepalm
