So I really want a BOSS FB-2 Feedbacker/Boost. It would allow me to have the features of a Sustainiac pickup without having to sacrifice a neck pickup that I love, it's easy to use, and I love pedals. Problem is I'm running out of room on my board and think I need to upgrade to a proper PedalTrain style board. Anyone know boards like PT ones but, you know, aren't outrageously overpriced? Might build one if I have to.

I'm definitely leaning that way. I can find loads of great, cheap boards but none of them in the pedaltrain "open back" design, if you will. But I'm lazy and terrible at building things (you should see my last two boards before I actually BOUGHT one)... so I may get my bass player who works in construction to build it. Cheesy

Building things is a necessary step to being a man. This is a perfect place to start.

Also the idea of a feedback pedal is drool-worthy. Real feedback at bedroom volume? Yes please.

I've built quite a few things (a couple pedalboards, book ends, shelves, spice racks) and they all turned out terribly. One day I may try again but for something like my pedalboard I'll leave it to my bassist. That's what he's there for right, serve the guitar players?  Facepalm I kid, I kid...

Just out of curiosity... how many pedals do you have on your pedalboard? Huh

Pedals are like ketchup. If your fries are good you don't need any

Pedals are like beer. Drink too much of it and it all goes to piss.  Cool

May I suggest basic geometry + a protractor...

Really though, a pedalboard is just a plank of wood. It doesn't get any easier.  Facepalm

This. Just plan and draw out everything before you start and youll be fine. Also, some people seem to think that the faster they work the less time they have to do something wrong. Take it from me, its bs Tongue
