Has anyone heard anything about these guitars? I am mainly interested in feedback about the Agile alone or as compared to the EC-1000. Good or bad, doesn't matter, all feedback is welcome. I am seriously debating between the Agile AL-3200 (top of the line single cut) and the LTD EC-1000, both which I can get for about the same price. As a side note, Indie is taking forever to get back to me for a final decision on how to handle the issues with my guitar. That could be a good sign (they are debating how to help me the best), or a very bad sign (they are ignoring me). I will be playing primarily with some gain to get metal tones. As I understand, you may be able to get better METAL tone out low gain passives.

I played the LTD in a guitar shop a while ago, I found the fret board too small for me, definetly not for lead work, sounded beefy enough chugging chords though.

May want to check out Schecter's single cut in that price range too. I have the Solo 6 Custom and it's my favourite guitar.

The truss rod can only adjust the 2/3 of the neck that are closer to the headstock. When it adjusts the neck it warps a little. The D and G strings are fretting out past the 14th fret. I am still waiting on them to get back to me to see if they are going to help.

I have played the ESP at the store as well. I thought it was pretty good. ESP has a pretty good reputation, so I would feel more comfortable with one. Can't find Agiles in the stores where I live. I like to at least try one out before I buy.

I disagree. I have very small hands and love it as a lead guitar player, yes, but many of my friends who have larger hands or fingers have bought one after trying mine and loving the neck and fretboard.

The bad thing about ordering from brands like Agile and Xavierre is that you can't play it till you buy it unless you have a buddy that's already bought one.

I have an Agile Les Paul copy and I have an LTD LP Copy. My LTD runs circles around the Agile. Sunday I took the Agile to church and ended up having to play the LTD instead. During practice the Agile started fretting out on one note in the solo. Plus my Agile is very heavy. Thought i had it sold, but the potential buyer said it was too heavy. He is right.

With that said, my Agile is not a 3200, it's a 2000.
In my opinion, Agiles are great cheap bang for buck guitars. If you want to buy a decent guitar for around $200 that is comparable to a $500 Epiphone, Agile is the way to go. With the proper setup you can get an awesome product from Agile. The LTDs I have played rock. I have a couple and will probably buy more. The LTDs are a step up in quality as far as I can see.

Agiles are cool inexpensive guitars. Once you go much past $300 they are no longer inexpensive guitars.
The EC-256 that I have can be bought for $399.00 new. It has the distressed finish. (other colors available) The nicer finished LTDs have a much higher price tag.
