You should find out exactly what make and model bridge you have. Finding parts might be easier than you think. And no, very few things in the world of guitars qualify as a standard size.

The post width needs to be measured and you also have to compare the height of the strings at the bridge. If the posts are not the same width as the replacement you can forget it. Also, some of those odd ball bridges have saddles at a completely different height than a Floyd Rose or Ibanez bridge...more so than you can compensate for with adjustments.

Another thing to consider is that it's either metric or standard.

Post a pic of the bridge with dimensions and I'm sure we'll find you a replacement in no time.

sorry for the delay, busy week! the Pole spacings are pretty much 74mm apart, the block is 32mm in height to my recollection (photos underneath). last week i ordered a GFS double locking licensed floyd rose out of desperation, hoping to use it in the same way as this floating bridge.. i can do that right? i'm not going to be doing any heavy dives or anything so i'm not gonna need to route out the body? I havent read many reviews and i know licensed trems are notoriously shite... but it's apparently made from hardened steel and has a brass block - where as the thing i broke looks like it was zinc or some other weak alloy.. so i'm fairly optimistic about it. Is the 74 from center to center? Or outside to outside? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that Floyd will work without routing the body..

thats center to center. well this is a pain in the arse considering i could be waiting a month for it to arrive and it potentially wont even work. why is that though, will it stand too high from the body? i was under the impression it would sit at the same height the old one did.. bollocks

Well I've never owned or operated a floyd so I'm not certain.. There are some nice floating bridges on gfs but they only go up to 62 mm spacing... Hmm... What's the brand and model of the guitar? Also how high does it sit when it's in the guitar?

That cutout is more likely a Fender tremolo type rather than the FR.

http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/8350/imga0048.jpg Aria Pro II xr, they havent made em since the late 80s i think, so parts for it seem pretty hard to come by from what ive experienced. the top of the saddle measures at around 13 /14mm from the body, the baseplate floats approximately 3 /4 mm from the body
