Guys.... since we end up making several guitars a year , they begin to pile up  all over the Studio  with NO cases ...  Shocked   I’ve now resorted to simpler and more space saving gig bags over cases ...  but still don’t have enough ...  Facepalm  Gotta’ buy some more ... Got 4 guitars waiting ..  :’(
What are you guys using for gig bags Huh  See a LOT of them out there for all kinds of prices ...  Shocked  I’m just looking for a decent bag (s)  for a "good price" ...  any ideas Huh   What are you using Huh

Surely you've thought of it but you ought to get some wall hangers and string some of them up around the house.

I know that the Musician Friend brand cases are nice as well as inexpensive, the gig bags can't be too far behind.

Or start donating to forum members. I'd accept one but I just made the foolish mistake of claiming I already have too many in another thread...  Tongue

Stands and racks are great around the Studio , but I need bags to haul them to gigs  and protect them at home  In "Guitar Heaven " (cupboard under the stairs )   Cheesy

Musicians friend gigbags are the best I've ever used, or seen! I would definately go with some of those.

IL, Thanks , I’ll check them out !!!    Cheesy

Chris , I built a case once , hard shell, and it was a Lot of work ...  Not as much FUN as making a guitar ...   If I had a sewing machine (and knew how to use it )  I know I could make a good gig bag ...  but alas , I don’t ...   Facepalm  Just have to Buy some ...   Huh

You could build a case and then cut a hole in the front of it and string it like a huge acoustic.

Then you'd have a case and a huge acoustic slide guitar.  ROTF

Naa!!!  Leave the strings off , make it a case/ foot drum , and passers by could throw coins in the hole ...   Perfect for “busking” ...

SW, maybe we shouldn’t let this idea get out , then Everybody will want one ...   Facepalm    ROTF
