Inspired by a very recent newcomer post, I decided we needed a place for the newcomers to wipe of their feet and introduce themselves.  Hence this thread.  Now since we haven't had a welcome thread before even some of you old guys can participate if you want.

So here we have it.   Introductions and welcomes only please.  If you want to stray off topic, then start a new thread.  Thanks and Welcome to the Guitar Forum.

Larry

P.S.

If you want to start your own thread saying hello that is fine as well.

You don't mind dog crap on your mat, do you? Haha, anyways... Name's Alex, I enjoy playing and listening to guitar. (Duh!) I'd like to become an Electrical Engineer, and I like tinkering with and creating electrical (And mechanical.) projects.

Hey I'm Paul.  I've been playing string and wood for over two years now (wow!  I just realized it's been over two years!  Shocked).  I wasn't into music until I started playing guitar.  That's right I picked up a guitar without a musical influence.  Weird, right?  From there I began getting into classic rock and draining my money on gear and music.  My other hobbies include games, archery, camping (camping with no electricity is the best!  Grin).  I also enjoy long walks on the beach and like good listeners.  Tongue

Ola fine peoples.

New here.

My regular board is starting to get ridiculous so here I am, shopping so to speak.

And Alex, I was reading that you like electrical type projects... well I am a commercial HVAC tech and have alot of experience with high and low voltage circuit/control and mechanical applications. I'd be curious to hear about the kind of projects you're into. And if you ever need some help, just ask Cool

Ha!! I like some crazy but those guys just didn't know when to stop. They were bashing every single newbie that came down the pike and that ain't too cool. Eventually it just gets old reading the same old posts from the same old people cause nobody new would stick around.

Anyway.....thanks
