Ha!! I like
some
crazy but those guys just didn't know when to stop. They were bashing every single newbie that came down the pike and that ain't too cool. Eventually it just gets old reading the same old posts from the same old people cause nobody new would stick around.
Anyway.....thanks

Women are a bit like rubik's cubes. If you spend too much time trying to work them out, you're probably never gonna get laid.

Best strings? the most expensive ones of course are the best... just kidding
just find out what gauge you like best and go from there... you won't find much of a difference unless they're coated, flatwound, or anything else weird.
And I would recommend going to your local music shop and trying all of them out as far as distortion pedals.

When it comes to effects pedals ALWAYS try before you buy. Sometimes they're not anything you want.

I think you should make a new thread in the Control room section, as Larry specifically asked not to get on different subjects.
Plus, you'll get more answers there.

it sure is. Pretty much anything I want to know about guitars can be answered here.
I'm sure someone will say "welcome the THE guitar forum" so, they can have the moment.

Alex, I was reading that you like electrical type projects... well I am a commercial HVAC tech and have alot of experience with high and low voltage circuit/control and mechanical applications. I'd be curious to hear about the kind of projects you're into. And if you ever need some help, just ask
Wow, that is cool. I like pretty much anything electrical. What I'm into right now is guitar pedals. I am over half way through this pedal:
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=139&category_id=7&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=45
I'm still modding my Boss SD-1, which isn't at the moment working.
I have however, narrowed it down to a loose connection or a short, somewhere. Just need to find out where. I sure will have plenty of questions in the future.
